Watou Tripel is a delicious Belgian Tripel beer from the St Bernardus Brewery. Watou tripel is a blond-amber colored beer with a full foam head. Refermentation in the bottle was used.
It has a fruity smell of banana and esters (This is the connection between alcohol & carboxylic acid). A slightly sweet and slightly bitter taste. You taste fresh fruit and malt. It has a dry and bitter aftertaste.
To put the taste in proportion you can compare it with the St. Bernardus tripel, but then slightly sweeter and slightly less bitter. Watou tripel is perfectly suited to use as an aperitif.
