The St-Feuillien Quadrupel is a very dark character beer. It is distinguished by its complex and slightly caramelized aroma with nuances of Madeira wine, candied fruit and a hint of fermentation esters (banana). A light hop scent (English style) completes the whole. The taste is long with a powerful body, which originates from the density and apparently generous extract. The bitterness is clearly present and goes perfectly harmoniously with the malted structure. The selection of specially selected malts brings out the chocolate notes in combination with the nuances of coconut milk.
