The color is deep gold, the foam is fine and airy. The bouquet is highly perfumed; the aromatic hop varieties are recognizable and the spices provide a fruity touch of citrus fruits.
The taste is characterized by an intense, very characteristic full bitterness. The dominant malt flavor in particular leaves a full impression in the mouth. Yet the aftertaste is dry and hoppy. All these characteristics together make it an excellent digestive beer.
