Pater Lieven tripel is a light amber colored beer. The foam head is somewhere between white and off-white. A spicy bitterness dominates the nose, although floral notes also appear in the scent. The taste evolves from slightly sweet malt and alcohol accents to an intense bitterness. A long aftertaste leaves a lasting pleasant impression.
