The Monk's Stout Dupont, a beer brewed from roasted malts, was developed in the 1950s in our farm brewery.
60 years later, we reuse the recipe to honor the beer. In the absence of a modernized taste, the beer regains its original name and look.
This very dark beer has a nice chocolate and coffee aroma due to the use of specially roasted malts. The freshness is always present thanks to the citrus notes of the hops. In the mouth, the beer has no sweet taste, but shows a pronounced and clear bitterness, making the beer very thirst-quenching.
To be enjoyed at cellar temperature (12°C) or slightly chilled. Monk's Stout Dupont is particularly delicious with shellfish, sushi, blue cheese and Moinette Vieux cheese.
