Augustijn Grand Cru is a golden-yellow, top-fermented dry tripel with secondary fermentation in the bottle and in the barrel. The taste contains both fruity and spicy aromas. According to connoisseurs, "this is called one of the best and finest beers from Brouwerij Van Steenberge". Augustijn has been brewed since 1295 by the Augustijnen fathers of Ghent and since 1978 by Brouwerij Vansteenberge.
