Discover the little sister of the Rince Cochon, brewed for a long time under the name of “The Rince Cochon”, the Rince Cochon Rouge (Red) is today brewed by Haacht in Belgium.
This beer is very different from the blond version, since this new Rince Cochon is flavored with red fruit, pours a red color and wears a reworked label on red tones.
The character of this beer lies in its dark pink colour reminiscent of red fruit. However, compared to most fruity beers, this one isn’t light and features an ABV of 7.5%. The whole is topped by a thick, long-lasting and slightly pink head. It challenges the nose with fruity aromas that one can try to guess. The presence of alcohol is obvious.
In the mouth, the flavours are sweet and fruity with notes of strawberries, cherries (the beer is produced with cherry juice) and raspberries. One can also sense the presence of hops, barley and malt.
