Qantelaar is a top-fermented Belgian beer.
The beer is brewed on behalf of Proefbrouwerij d'oude Maalderij in Brouwerij Maenhout in Meulebeke. It is a dark brown beer with an alcohol percentage of 8%. The recipe was developed by four hobby brewers from Lichtervelde. The Q refers to the beer type (quadrupel) and the ear can also be found on the logo (barley stars).
