This particular Intense Red has been macerated on its fruit for six months. The lambics in this blend come from 2 different barrels and 2 different brews. The final fruit intensity is 475 grams of cherries per liter of Intense Red.
A beautiful, inviting color with a minimal foam that quickly disappears completely.
An overloaded taste and smell of pure cherries, slightly sweet with a typical, but certainly not overpowering acidity.
Very nice balance between the sweet/sour of the cherries used.
Very pleasant on a hot day!
